THE ADVENTURE BEHIND BOHO HOUSES

You probably recognize it: some dreams you keep postponing... until you no longer want to wait and finally decide: we’re just going to do it!

After years of running our own travel agency and literally flying all over the world, one desire became more and more clear: living and working in beautiful, relaxed Spain. So in late 2019, the decision was made. The house in the Netherlands went up for sale, and everything moved faster than expected. Suddenly, it was happening: the boxes were packed, the moving van was ready. Off to a new life on the sunny Costa Blanca! ☀️

What started as a “six-month orientation phase” turned into a dream start within just a few days: A house? Check. ✅ A job at a real estate agency in the area? Also arranged. ✅ As if it was meant to be. Wonderful! Peace, space, and most of all: new energy. It felt like coming home and starting over at the same time.

And then came the questions: “Hey, do you maybe know someone who can rent out our house?” Well, after years of working in travel, hospitality, and guest experience, that itch returned. And it returned strong.

And so, BOHO HOUSES was born! ✨
